12:55 a.m. — An officer on patrol logged a suspicious vehicle with the dome light on parked outside the Subway on South Pine.

4:51 a.m. — Berryville Police requested officers watch for a vehicle with no license plate that had been taken for a test drive and not returned. Officers were notified, but the vehicle was located about 30 minutes later.

9:39 a.m. — Little Rock Police contacted the HPD for warrant confirmation on a 45-year-old man for probation violation with bond set at $5,675 cash only. The warrant was confirmed valid, but the location was outside extradition range.

10:13 a.m. — A man called to report numerous people threatening him at his residence, but an officer said no one else was present.

10:30 a.m. — Cobb County (Georgia) authorities contacted the HPD for warrant confirmation on a 30-year-old man for breaking or entering and theft of property with bond set at $3,500. The warrant was confirmed valid, but the location was outside extradition range.

10:51 a.m. — A caller reported a man who smelled of alcohol tried to steal a tire from a business on North Main, then left northbound when confronted. Officers were notified.

11:53 a.m. — An employee at Days Inn reported a man and woman had been fighting inside the motel, then they went and got into a vehicle outside when asked to leave and were still arguing. An officer said the man agreed to leave the area and the woman would stay.

12:06 p.m. — A caller reported a one-vehicle wreck on Capps Road. The Fire Department was notified due to damage to a fire hydrant, but no arrests were made.

11:54 a.m. — A man went to the HPD to report his wife, who suffered from dementia, had wandered away from their residence on foot. Officers located the woman and she was returned home.

12:02 p.m. — A caller reported finding a loaded syringe on West Ridge. An officer properly disposed of the item.

1:48 p.m. — Boone County authorities reported recovering a vehicle reported stolen out of Harrison. Detectives were notified.

1:53 p.m. — A caller reported a child accidentally locked inside a vehicle on the square. Assist completed.

2:23 p.m. — A caller reported a dog running loose on Union Road. Information left for Animal Control.

2:45 p.m. — A caller reported a man and woman arguing in a vehicle parked outside Bounce Mania. An officer said the subjects were fine, although the man was notified to contact his probation officer about the incident.

2:57 p.m. — A female subject called to report she dropped her wallet on the Burger King parking lot and she thought someone had picked it up, but store employees refused to let her view video surveillance footage. Information noted for future reference.

3:41 p.m. — A woman called to report her husband creating a disturbance at her residence on North Chestnut. An officer said it had been verbal only, but the caller was advised of the steps necessary for a protection order.

4:16 p.m. — A male subject called to report a tree limb blocking Cottonwood Road just inside the city limits. An officer said the roadway was cleared.

4:17 p.m. — A caller reported a tree blocking Mockingbird. The Street Department was notified.

4:18 p.m. — A caller reported a tree down on East Gordon. The Street Department was notified.

4:32 p.m. — A reckless driver was reported southbound on Walnut from Hudson’s Supermarket. Officers were notified.

4:56 p.m. — A woman called to report someone left a mountain bike on her porch on East Washington. An officer asked that day shift be notified because the bike wouldn’t fit in his patrol car.

7:05 p.m. — A caller reported possible gunshots in the area of Skyline Heights Elementary, but officers didn’t locate anything suspicious after checking the area.

7:07 p.m. — A woman called to report her daughter was bitten by a dog on Brewer Street. An officer said the bite was minor, but the dog was taken to the city pound.

11:09 p.m. — A caller reported a man and woman creating a disturbance at Casey’s on South Main after being refused alcohol without valid ID. They left in a vehicle, but officers stopped it a little while later and arrested a 48-year-old woman for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture methamphetamine with bond set at $3,500 and a 50-year-old man for possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence with bond set at $1,910. Both were later released after posting professional bond.
