Ozark Trailer Manufacturing and Sales hosted a ribbon cutting with the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce to celebrate their new, expanded location with owner Rhett Bramley.

Chamber ambassador Richard Harness said, “It’s exciting when local businesses in our area see success, expand and offer more services.”

Jim Holland, representing the Chamber Board of Directors said, “Congratulations Rhett on the new expanded facility. The steps that led to your expansion are very interesting. We appreciate your involvement with the Chamber and we look forward to even bigger things.”

“Thank you for inviting us out this morning,” City of Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson said. “I was asking about the price of steel, and Rhett said it hadn’t affected trailer sales as much as you’d think. So now is a good time to buy a trailer. I think it’s important that you have some land now, and you can even expand more. I can see this as one of the major industries in town.”

“This business has been very blessed with this growth,” Bramley said. “I’ve got an awesome crew behind me. I couldn’t do it without them. I want to thank the Chamber for supporting me through this growth. And I want to thank the community. Harrison has been very supportive. Without you buying and supporting the business we wouldn’t be where we are today. This is our third facility. So we’ve gone through some growing pains. Right now we are far behind on products. But we don’t want our local community to get frustrated with us. We are still trying to take care of you first. Our goal and forefront is to serve this community first. We are a ways out,  but we want to serve you. With this new facility we’ve got more room. We have more welders for the manufacturing product. We’ve actually got a better product. We have a new paint system and are always looking for ways to improve our product. With more space, we can take care of warranty issues, or any issues customers may have.”

Bramley said he currently has six welders, but needs more. The majority of his staff are veterans. “This business came from nothing. He started in 2009 with a small location on Hwy. 392 in Capps, then moved to Center Loop north of town. Now with 12.5 acres at 6016 US 65 South of Harrison he has room to continue to expand.

They manufacture cargo, utility, dump, trailers, truck flatbeds, deck over, aluminum and custom trailers.

“This new home on the highway is great,” Lloyd Mahoney, Chamber operations manager said. ”We appreciate the opportunity to celebrate with you. You are sitting on 12 acres of success. That’s a lot better than where you were.”

Ozark Trailer MFG and Sales is located at 6016 US 65, just seven miles south of the Downtown area. The website is ozarktrailersales.com or the office phone number is 870-280-2709. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday until noon.
