Alpena FBLA takes on virtual District Conference

The Alpena FBLA club met in a classroom on Alpena High School campus for the District Conference on Feb. 3 to accept the awards from the District Level. However, things looked a little different this year with the pandemic. Instead of normally attending the District Conference in Mountain Home, the Alpena FBLA acknowledged the winners of the District Level competition, virtually, by a prerecorded video, and with safety guidelines in place. The students from Alpena who competed at the District Level all placed first in their categories. Alexis Huesca, Tyler Cantwell, and Brendon Adams (Team) received first place in Website Design; Lily Bray received first place in Electronic Career Portfolio; and Bryce Martin received first place in Graphic Design.
