Singing set
DIAMOND CITY — First Baptist Church of Diamond City is hosting a singing on Friday, Oct. 21 from 6-8 p.m. Participants are encouraged to listen or bring an instrument and participate.
‘Music at The Mill’
Neighbor’s Mill is hosting an outdoor concert on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. It will be an evening of Christian and appropriate secular music featuring the praise bands of First Baptist and Woodland Heights. Admission and refreshments are free.
Missionary to speak
Costa Rica missionary, Chad Braymer will be speaking on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at Open Door Baptist Church. The church is located at 606 Cottonwood Road.
Jeff & Sheri Easter in concert
RIDGEWAY — Miracle Lighthouse Church will host a concert Monday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. featuring the award-winning duro Jeff and Sheri Easter. The couple have been married for 36 years and have been featured many times on the Gaither Homecoming Tour. The concert is free, and a love offering will be received. Miracle Lighthouse Church is located at 1114 Ridgeway Loop, just a few miles north of Harrison.
Community Event
The Burlsworth Foundation as well as area businesses are sponsoring a community event on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. to be held in the North Arkansas College Pioneer Pavilion. Razorback Athletic Director, Hunter Yurachek will share his testimony and introduce the main guest, Robby Gallatry of Nashville, Tennessee. Admission is free. Community Gospel Sing set
The Ark PCG will host a gospel sing for the community on Saturday, Oct. 29 beginning at 1 p.m. There will be a potluck finger food fellowship afterwards. The church is located at 3598 Hwy. 65 North. Call 501-249-2845 for more information.
Trunk or Treat at Bear Creek
Located in the parking lot of Bear Creek Baptist Church, everyone is invited to Trunk or Treat on Monday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 7:30. The church is located at 179 DeVito’s Loop and there will be tons of candy, hotdogs, popcorn and prizes for children and adults. The event will be moved into the gym in case of rain.
‘Surviving the Holidays’
Saturday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. a special one-session only “Surviving the Holiday,” a ministry of Grief Share will be held at Open Door Baptist Church at 606 Cottonwood Road. Finger foods will be served afterwards. For more information call 870-741-8755.
Messiah rehearsals begin soon
The Harrison Community Choir will present Messiah on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. (with piano accompaniment) and Monday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 (with orchestra accompaniment). Both performances will be held at First Baptist Church. All are welcome to participate in singing. No audition required. Rehearsals will be Nov. 6, 13, 20, Dec. 4, 11 all at 3 p.m. Email conductor Marvin Murphree at mrmurphree@gmail.com if there are any questions.
