Messiah
The Harrison Community Choir will be presenting Messiah for the public on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. and Monday Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m. to allow for plenty of distancing. Rehearsals continue on Dec. 12 and 19 at 2 p.m. Anyone interested in participating can join. Practices and performances will be at the First Presbyterian Church at 220 N. Arbor Drive.
Kent York to speak
Evangelist Kent York will be speaking at the Open Door Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. The church is located at 606 Cottonwood Road or services can be seen on Facebook Live.
Christmas music
DEER — Deer Baptist Church will present the Christmas music, “His Name is Jesus,” on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. Refreshments to follow.
Christmas Eve candlelight service
Valley View Methodist Church will host a candlelight service at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 2844 Valley View Church Road.
