Arvest Bank recently announced it has promoted Haley Doshier to the position of associate mortgage lender in the Harrison market.

Doshier has more than four years of industry experience, most recently serving as a mortgage sales assistant. In her new role, Doshier will report to Karolyn Ziemer, mortgage loan manager for Arvest in North Central Arkansas.

“Haley is an outstanding young professional,” said Ziemer. “We have full confidence she will excel in her new role continuing to serve members of our Harrison and Boone County communities.”

“This is a well-deserved promotion,” said Scott Tennyson, community bank president for Arvest in Harrison. “Haley is a hard worker who cares about helping her customers. We are excited to see her grow her career within the company and thrilled that she will be serving our customers in this new role.”

Doshier currently serves as board member for Bright Futures Omaha, among other civic endeavors. She and her husband, Braxton, live in Harrison.

Arvest Bank announced Karolyn Ziemer has been promoted to mortgage loan manager for its North Central Arkansas region. Ziemer joined Arvest as a mortgage lender in 2004 and has also served as a mortgage lender supervisor. In her new role, Ziemer will provide direction to Arvest’s North Central Arkansas mortgage division in addition to being responsible for its generation, evaluation, approval, processing, closing and servicing of real estate loans.

“Karolyn has been a tremendous addition to our Arvest NCA mortgage team,” Arvest loan manager Layton Lee said. “Her years of experience in the mortgage industry paired with her local ties to our community are valuable strengths she brings to help serve our customers and lead our mortgage-lending team.”

Ziemer, a Yellville-Summit graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and business management at the University of Central Arkansas. She is a member of the Lenders Advisory Council for the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, Rotary Club of Mountain Home, Redeemer Lutheran Church and an affiliate member of the North Central Arkansas Board of Realtors, among other civic endeavors.
