BCSO receives sweet potatoes

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office was invited this year to the BB Mathews sweet potato farm, located in Wynne, to participate in the harvest of over 7,000 pounds of fresh sweet potatoes at no cost. These sweet potatoes will be served in meals to the inmates of the Boone County Jail. Jeff Davis loaned his trailer to the Sheriff’s Department and Davis GMC provided a truck for the trip.
