The Boone and Newton County Retired Teachers and Support Staff Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Western Sizzlin. The speaker will be Clint Rhoden, executive director of the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, who will give an update on the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System. All area retired teachers and classified staff are invited to attend.
