Mike McClintock, Boone County staff chair for the Extension Services, spoke to the adults and teens from the Leadership Classes and said, “We have been doing this a long time. We are very proud of what we do here. The Arkansas Extension Service is a part of the University of Arkansas. Every state has a land-grant university. This all came about after the Civil War and the land-grant universities all had outreach programs and that is us.”
