The city council needs help. They’ve asked for resident input regarding future tax structuring. At the end of December next year, the general fund and infrastructure taxes will expire. Thanks to changes in state law, special elections can only be conducted at the same time as primary or general elections. This puts the city on a short fuse to decide what goes on the ballot at the next election.
