The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce and Robin Wilson hosted a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Sept. 28 for Colorscapes & Concepts.
Wilson said, “The support in the community has really been astounding to me. All of the agencies and organizations to help me has taught me a lot.”
“I think everyone could use a new paint job,” Wilson laughed. “Especially as times have changed and people are spending more time at home and the needs of some rooms have changed. The exterior — it’s one of the biggest investments you’ll have. Painting the exterior of a home protects that investment and takes years off and adds value. I love doing this — it’s like clean sheets at night. Feels good.”
Mayor Jerry Jackson, “I was very happy to see that we had a ‘skill’ business to celebrate today. As you know we are building a new city hall and public safety building. We will need painters, and we don’t have a lot in the community.
