Crossroads Wheelers donate to Informed Choices

Posted

Crossroads Community Church and Eagle Heights Baptist Church came together as part of the Crossroads Wheelers OHV group to put on their first poker chip ride Saturday, May 1. The main purpose of the group is to bring people together to enjoy the sport of riding ATV and UTVs and explore God's wonders. The poker chip ride was held to raise money for Informed Choices, a local Woman’s crisis center for expecting mothers.

The combined efforts and donations from churches, local merchants and participants make the event successful, raising $8,000 to donate to the cause. The donation was accepted by Rhonda Graham, director of Informed Choices and Giselle Elmore, RN. Twyla Waters accepted the donation from the Wheelers.
