As of about 1 p.m. Thursday, 716 people had voted early in Boone County. Of those, 655 voted in the Republican Primary, 58 in the Democratic Primary and three in the non-partisan judicial election. That represents less than 3% of the 25,176 registered voters in the county.
Early voting is underway at the Boone County Election Center at the corner of Cherry Street and West Central Avenue in Harrison. Weekday hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Early voting will also be conducted Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Election Center. Election days in Tuesday, May 24.
