An incomprehensible event: every person in the audience of a high school play falls unconscious—every person but one. Using interviews with witnesses, loved ones, first responders and the investigators pursuing the case, a theatre ensemble brings the story of the strange event to life, documentary-style. But as the strands weave together into an increasingly dangerous web, it becomes clear that this phenomenon might not be entirely in the past. Unnerving, exhilarating, and wildly inventive, you've never walked into anything quite like Trap.
Join the Harrison High School Theatre Department on a wild ride into a dark world of uncertainty. With both new and veteran cast and crew, this eclectic ensemble will electrify you as they work through the twists and turns of a strange event and keep you guessing with each new surprise.
Theatre Director Julianna Hamblin says, “This has been a tumultuous year, but these theatre students have worked hard and safely to bring their community a safe, quality performance and would love to see you there! Cast and crew will be fully masked at all times, keeping 6 feet of distance when possible, with frequent hand washing, use of sanitizer, no sharing of props and we ask that our audience wear their masks upon entering and exiting to honor the request of the Harrison School District. These incredible students would love their community to come see the result of their hard work and diligence!”
Please note: this play has some quick light changes and blackouts, and may not be suitable for those with sensitivity to light/epilepsy.
