People drive past Share and Care every day. Maybe they have even gone inside to peruse the thrift store offerings or lent a hand in the community kitchen on a busy Saturday. But if a person has not personally needed the assistance of Share and Care, they might not fully understand what it means for so many in our community. Children, the elderly, veterans, single parents—many of these neighbors rely on Share and Care. They count on it for hot meals, for clothing for the new school season, and for that sense of belonging and care that others may take for granted. When someone needs it, it’s there—because of the dedication of our staff, the selflessness of our volunteers, and the generosity of community-based donations.
