Horsemen United announces changes

Horsemen United Horse Show Association has made some changes to make shows more suited for today’s economy. Entry fees are lower, a decrease in the number of classes, and a more central location for the shows. New board members have been elected. Richard Hunt, founder and president of the association from 1978 to 1992, was elected to serve as president again.The 2023 show dates are Saturday, May 20, double point show (rain date, May 27) June 24, single point show (rain date, July 1) July 15 (double point show) (rain date, July 22) All shows will be held at the arena at the Cattlemen’s Livestock Auction barn, located at 1207 Ridgeway Loop, off of Highway 65 north of Harrison. All shows will start at 5 p.m. and will consist of 19 classes. We are also a qualifier event for the Arkansas Elite Barrel Racing finals and also BBR.
