MAUI, Hawaii — Kris Kristofferson, the country music legend, A-list actor, and Rhodes scholar, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, at his home in Hawaii, as confirmed by family spokesperson Ebie McFarland. According to McFarland, Kristofferson died peacefully surrounded by family. No cause of death was given. Kristofferson was 88.
