Being different isn’t easy, especially for kids. Logan Slaughter is very familiar with the difficulties faced by kids with autism and advocates for inclusion.
Logan will be hosting the Autism Awareness Meet and Mingle from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 14 at Three Wishes for Ruby’s Residents, located at 102 Stephenson Avenue in Harrison. The meeting is a place for kids with autism to feel safe, needed and loved. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue for Logan or loved ones.
