Service: Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.

Lottie Becker, age 92, of Alpena, passed away on Sunday, Sept.13 (2015). She was born Aug. 18, 1923, in the Plumlee Community, daughter of the late Hiram and Flora (Villines) Mabee.

She started elementary school at Plumlee, and in 1941, she graduated from Alpena High School. Lottie was a homemaker for a number of years and later became a real estate agent. She was passionate about farm life and her cattle. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. Lottie especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and caring for her flowers. 

Lottie is survived by her son, Monty Madden and wife, Sharon, of Alpena; daughters, Deborah Madden Earle, of St. Peters, Missouri, and Rebecca Becker Leeson, of Green Forest; son-in-law, Jim Brundrett, of Alpena; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Becker; daughters, Lynne Madden Hopper and Cynthia Madden Brundrett; infant son, Kerry John Madden; parents, Hiram and Flora Mabee; sisters, Lorene Hulsey and Irene Madle; brother, William (Doc) Mabee; and grandson, Royce Hole; great-grandson, Mason Beach; and son-in-law, Steve Earle.

Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Friday Oct. 2, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
