May Days Music Fest Pageant now accepting contestants

The May Days Music Fest Pageant is now accepting contestants. The event will take place Saturday, May 8, at the Northwest Arkansas District Fairgrounds. “We’re excited about the festival this year and pleased to include the pageant as an official event. Some of the changes to this years’ pageant include a lower entry fee and attire will be party dress rather than pageant dress.” says Pageant Director, Tamsyn Simon. “We hope these changes allow for more to participate as many are still dealing with the challenges this past year has brought us.” The newly crowned Miss May Days Music Fest will receive a large crown and official satin sash, along with a $100 cash prize. She will reign over May Days Music Fest May 15-16 with her court. Age divisions for girls and women of all ages will round out the May Days Music Fest Court. There are no residency or marital restrictions. Two Overall Photogenic winners will be awarded. Side awards and Crowd Favorite winners will also be presented in each division.
