Twenty-eight years seems a very short lifetime, but Wes Hudson experienced a great deal of "living" in his 28 years on earth including: three arrests for murder and three acquittals; the fatal shooting of a popular U.S. Deputy Marshall in the Oklahoma Territory; time spent as both an outlaw and as a U.S. Deputy Marshall; and personal relationships that gained him the love and respect of many friends, neighbors, and relatives.
