Greetings from Capps. It’s beginning to feel a lot like...well, winter. At least the majority of the big snow melted off before the freezing rain, sleet, snow, freezing fog, let’s see, did I miss anything, came? Starting last Sunday afternoon, things just shut down for a while. We were sorry to miss the 5th Sunday Singing and Fellowship at Capps Full Gospel Sunday night but the fog was as thick as I’d ever seen, making travel treacherous. Even as of Tuesday, most folks were still pretty hunkered down, Harrison was like a ghost town but by Wednesday there were a few more folks around. I did catch up with my friend, Chris Wrone, and gave him a lift back to Capps. Capps Batavia Fire Department responded to several traffic-related incidents including a rollover near Devito’s, down power lines sparking and carbon monoxide alarms. We had a few new recruits at our last training meeting also. I’ve been out of commission with my recent shoulder surgery and am doing physical therapy now for 6-8 weeks. Its still hard to find a comfortable sleeping position. Don’t forget to let that sweet someone in your life know how special they are this Valentines Day, it’s coming right up. I hope Jennifer remembers! Blessings, Doug
