I saw a picture on Facebook of the students working the schools green house. Spring is in the air. Happy Birthday to Jan Sproul, March 3; Rita Hunter and Ruth Hindbaugh, March 13. Congratulations to Ms. Pam for receiving the SG360 4th Quarter Supervisor Award! We are so proud to have her at Lead Hill School . Good news, Arkansans over 65 will now be allowed to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced on last Tuesday. The governor said at a news conference that large swaths of teachers, emergency workers and nursing home residents have received their first dose. The state is ready to move on to another 115,000 Arkansans over 65. As of Tuesday, the state’s 855,230 vaccine doses, 534,479 have been given. Hutchinson said the White House will allocate another 4,000 doses per week to Arkansas. Last Monday, a test clinic to administer the COVID-19 vaccine was held in Diamond City. If it works well, other communities in Boone County will have the opportunity. A very smooth operation as patients drove through the various stations. Much appreciation to community leaders. Broken Vessels will have free days March 5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and March 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please consider a monetary donation for Steve Carrington’s medical expenses for immunotherapy treatments. All sales March 5 and all donations will go to Steve. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved to March 12 and 13.
