A Newton County 4-H team will be heading to Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky in November. The Poultry Judging Team representing Eagle Pride 4-H Club, Newton County 4-H and Mt. Judea FFA placed 2nd in the State 4-H Poultry Judging Contest in Little Rock on July 21st at the Arkansas State Fair Grounds. The group participated in Parts Identification, Egg Grading, Poultry Carcass Grading and Process Defects Identifications. The members of the team are Ashton Collins, Ashton Gibson, Halle Brewer and Karsyn Clayborn. The coach and leader for the team is Austin Evans, Mt Judea FFA Advisor.
