Weslee Bass (right) learns police procedures from Harrison Police Officer Lauren Stroud when running a driver’s license check through a mobile police computer after making a traffic stop Tuesday during the Harrison Police and Kids Camp event. The three day camp teaches the kids about traffic stops and crime scene investigations. Over 30 students are taking part in this years camp. They will learn about firefighting techniques at the Firehouse #2 from the Harrison firemen and on Wednesday and Thursday they will learn about swift water rescue techniques from the HarrisonFire Department’s swift water rescue team.
