Pesticide applicator training offered

JASPER — The Newton County Extension Service is having a Pesticide Applicator Training (PAT) course for those that need to apply or recertify for their restricted use pesticide license. This training is mandatory prior to using restricted use pesticides in Arkansas. The cost of the training will be $20. The training will be held at the Newton County Extension office in Jasper on May 13, at 10: a.m.  Social distancing will be practiced and masks will be required.
