Planet Fitness representatives and local officials will formally celebrate the opening of its new club in Harrison, with a member appreciation event, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and check presentation on June 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. Planet Fitness’ selected nonprofit, Children’s Charity Ministry Thrift Store, will receive a $5,000 donation to help advance its mission to feed local children and support other programs.
Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing global franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand, opened the Harrison location on May 17, 2021 at 615 Hwy 62 65 North.
“We’re excited to bring a high-quality, Judgement Free fitness experience to Harrison where residents can build an active lifestyle at an affordable cost,” said Lance Morgan, regional director at United PF Partners, a leading Planet Fitness Franchisee Group that currently operates 171 locations across 14 states. “As a new member of the local community, we’re also proud to support the good work of the Children’s Charity Ministry Thrift Store which provides meals for children so they can stay healthy and reach their full potential.”
