Over 1,400 high school students from 54 high schools around the state attended the Arkansas Thespian Festival this past weekend at The Center for The Arts and Russellville High School in Russellville, Arkansas. For over 40 years Arkansas Thespians has hosted a festival focused on teaching acting and technical theatre to high school students throughout the state.The event offered over 275 workshops with 54 guest artists over the three day festival. Workshops included topics covering acting, dancing, stage combat, set design, and directing. Several theatre professionals from around the country offered workshops on auditioning and getting into the theatre and film business.
