Boone County authorities were notified Monday night, around 8:30-9 p.m. that Hilltop Road had "dropped" during flooding rains. Road supervisor, James Still, reported that upon inspection, the road had dropped several inches down and barricades were put up to prevent drivers from passing over the damaged area.
