Three feet of snow! That was a weather record I didn't really want to participate in. But, sure enough, we woke up that cold New Jersey morning to snow that had literally buried the metropolitan New York area. Even New York had been effectively shut down by the storm. Our little guy wanted to go out in the snow that blanketed our backyard. So we bundled him up and watched as he ventured out into that white stuff. And he promptly disappeared! I went out after him and just about disappeared myself. It took a while for that snow to become manageable and for life to get back to normal. But for those of us who have lived through some pretty long and tough winters, there is one word that sustains us through it all: spring. more
I’ve been so busy during January, I haven’t even got to brag about all God did for me lately! With the cost of airline tickets, we didn’t really think we’d get to see our Florida family at all at Christmas. Then hubby gets an email from an airline we’ve used in the past and they were having a special and we could afford to go Jan. 3-10. So I squealed and he made the reservations. more

It’s Upwards season again. Ryan Puls said, “The Lord has blessed us with great numbers again, we have over 250 basketball players and over 50 cheerleaders. So at total registration of more than 300. This is up over 50 participants from last year.” more
