Two juveniles died in incident

GOSHEN — Saturday afternoon the Goshen Police Department were called to an incident.

There was a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) wreck that involved six juveniles.

Two eighth-grade females that were members of the Fayetteville School District, expired on the scene.

“Upon arrival, officers observed members of the Goshen Fire Department actively providing lifesaving measures, including CPR, to two juvenile female victims,” said captain Jason Travis of the Goshen Police Department. “With the assistance of deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the scene was secured, and responding officers assisted fire personnel with resuscitation efforts until Central EMS arrived and assumed medical care.”

The four other occupants of the UTV sustained minor injuries and were released at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation.
