As part of an ongoing yearlong celebration of its 50th Anniversary, North Arkansas College invites the public to the south campus on Friday, April 19, 2024, to commemorate the late Dr. Bill Baker. Dr. Baker was the founding college president who became the longest running college president in the state of Arkansas. Dr. Baker was the college’s president for 27 years before he retired in 2000. more

Jerry and Janice Harris returned home from a cruise ship vacation last Friday evening. They teamed up with Todd Rogers' church congregation. They enjoyed the sights and sounds. It was cold here when they first got back home. Janice stated that she would like to be back in the warm weather they had experienced during the cruse. more

Greetings from Capps. Thank the good Lord for over 2 inches of soaking rain last week. All my ponds filled and outflowed and glorious mud is back but we're so grateful. I've noticed several folks in the Capps area that have broken out the mowers lately, myself included. more
70 years of celebrating the Green Forest Alumni Banquet — the Alumni Association started in 1954 and has been going on for 70 years and it was always the Saturday before Easter and this year it is March 30 but the time has changed to 11 a.m. more
