The 4A-1 gets five playoff spots for the Class 4A State Football Playoffs.
Four of those teams have been determined with the final position still up for grabs and may not be determined until the final regular season play on Nov. 6.
Berryville and Green Forest ran into league leaders on Friday night.
The Bobcats fell to Gentry, 41-0, while Green Forest was on the short end of a 39-7 contest with Elkins.
Gravette demolished Prairie Grove, 43-0, while Huntsville downed Lincoln, 38-35.
This week Berryville hopes to break its losing streak with Lincoln coming to town. Lincoln has not won a 4A-1 contest this season.
Green Forest will make the short trip to Huntsville to battle the Eagles. The two teams are tied with Berryville for the fifth playoff spot.
In the game of the week for the conference and all of Class 4A, Gravette travels to Elkins. Elkins is the defending 4A state champion, but Gravette was picked by league coaches as the top team in the conference before the season started.
Both teams are 7-1 overall and 5-0 in league play.
In a battle of the third and fourth place teams, Gentry travels to Prairie Grove.
Gentry is a game ahead of Prairie Grove in the conference race with a 4-1 mark. Prairie Grove is 3-2.
The last week of the season will see Green Forest making the trip to Berryville. This game may be the one to determine the fifth and final playoff spot.
In the playoffs, the fifth seeded team will play the top team from the 4A-8. Currently, Stuttgart is first with Hamburg sitting a game back in second place.
Huntsville will travel to Elkins to end the regular season. Gentry and Gravette tangle and Prairie Grove will end Lincoln’s season.
