MT JUDEA — On October 20, Mt Judea students collected 793 pounds of trash during the Great Arkansas Cleanup.
According to a release by the Mt. Judea school, students from kindergarten through high school, teachers, and staff participated in the event, with the elementary students cleaning up around the school campus and high school students covering areas throughout Mt. Judea. More than three miles were estimated to be cleaned up on that day.
Rainey Yeager, Mt. Judea school counselor, proudly shared, “As an Arkansas Game and Fish School of Conservation Leadership, we’re teaching our students that conservation isn’t just something we learn about in the classroom—it’s something we put into action!”
“We couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff for rolling up their sleeves, working together, and showing what it means to be good stewards of our environment!” she continued.
“Small hands. Big impact. One beautiful community.”
