Brad Phillips took over the leadership of the Lady Pioneers of North Arkansas College.

Leading the most storied program in Arkansas junior college basketball, Phillips was handed a very tough schedule in his first season as head coach.
His first game was against Eastern Oklahoma, a solid Division I National Junior College Athletic Association program.
The Lady Pioneers turned up their offense in the second half on the way to a 65-46 win.
Northark equaled their field goal total of eight in the third period alone.
The squad connected on four treys in the period.
Rayleigh Turner hit the first shot of the third period.
That long shot was followed by a 3-pointer from Laramie Watkins.
Annabelle Perry hit back-to-back buckets with one of those being a 3.
Addie Overturff nailed a 3-pointer and the Lady Pioneers were rolling.
Candace Morgan continued Northark’s scoring with a free throw before Watkins drained her second trey of the period.
Perry tacked on her third field goal of the period and Overturff hit two free throws and Lillian Gilbert hit her first field goal for Northark to push the Lady Pioneers to a 52-36 lead heading into the final period.
Northark will be on the road for the entire month of November before returning home on December 9.
Leading the team with 21 points was Overturff.
Perry 10, Cailyn Sullivan nine, Watkins six, Gilbert four, Alyssa Haigwood, Katelyn Geurin, Coree Kyle and Desiree Allen two each and Morgan one.
