State vehicle fatalities for Oct. 19 – 25

There were 2 fatalities on Arkansas roads and highways last week, bringing the total to 388 so far for 2026.

• Two minors were killed and two additional minors were injured in a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday, October 19, in Independence County.
A 2014 Hyundai, driven by one of the minors with the other three as passengers, left the roadway to the right and struck a driveway access, causing the Hyundai to become airborne. The Hyundai struck a second driveway and overturned.
The accident happened at 4:49 p.m. on Monday. The weather was clear, and the road condition was dry.
