Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Crossroads Cemetery in Deer, with visitation at the cemetery one hour before services, beginning at 1 p.m.; arrangements under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Doyle David Farmer, 79, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, May 29 (2019) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

The son of Columbus Farmer and Bonnie (Holt) Pritchett was born Aug. 22, 1939, at Red Rock. He lived in Newton and Boone counties most of his life. He worked at Claridge Products for over 30 years and was a farmer.

Doyle enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and 4-wheeler riding. He was a terrific dad who loved his family. He was a hard worker who was always there for his kids and grandkids. He especially enjoyed spending time with his late brother, Preston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Preston and Carl Farmer.

Doyle is survived by his daughters, Marie Middleton and husband Bradley, of Vendor, and Janet Burdine, of Harrison; his twin brother, Dale Farmer, of Jasper, and a sister, Clema Jean Davis and husband Quinton, of Rogers; four grandkids, Jessica Farmer, Brandon Middleton, Justin Burdine and Christin Middleton; six great-grandkids, Taytan, Jayden, Haygan, Shaylee, Cole and Haisley; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Crossroads Cemetery in Deer. Visitation will be held at the cemetery one hour before services, beginning at 1 p.m.
