Hilda Sue Fleshman Johnson was born Jan. 6, 1947, in Olvey. On Tuesday, Aug. 23 (2016) we lost our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is now re-united with her parents and big brother, John and Lorene and Johnny Dale Fleshman, in Heaven.

Hilda deeply loved her family and she was loved by all. Her commitment to her community was a “gift” and everyone knows she never met a stranger or passed a “Garage Sale” without stopping. Hilda always demonstrated her devotion to God and Christianity and attended St. John's Episcopal Church.

Hilda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Anthony Garner; her son, Kiley Johnson and his fiancée, Megan Hofstra; her grandchildren, Derek, Addie, Jasmine and Kiefer; her great-grandchildren, Ella, Izzy, Lane and Abegail; her siblings, Jacqueline Hiatt and Mervin Fleshman; her “sisters-in-crime,” Angie Padfield, Susie Poe, Tiffany Ricketts, Helen Lowery, Stephanie Engle and Tammy Cooper.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at St. John's Episcopal Church, with the memorial service being held at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers or food, a Trust has been established at Anstaff Bank in Hilda's name, attention Tammy Cooper.
