A memorial service for V.Z. and Emilie Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Bergman Church of Christ. Arrangements are with Holt Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Children’s Homes, Inc., 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72540-3319.
V.Z. was born April 22, 1933, at Harrison to Verlan and Pearlie (Davis) Jackson. He died July 25, 2017 at his home.
Emilie was born April 15, 1934, at Lead Hill, to Bernice and Brooksey Rogers. She died July 26 (2018) at Harrison.
V.Z. and Emilie are survived by their children, Sandra Stewart, Sammye Grymes and Jeff Jackson.
