2:13 a.m. — A caller reported a male subject standing on the porch of a residence on South Ash threatening to shoot anyone who walked on his property. An officer spoke to the subject in question and said he was fine.

2:44 a.m. — An officer on patrol advised he’d be checking an unoccupied vehicle parked behind Northside Church of Christ. The license plate on the vehicle had been reported stolen, so a supplemental complaint was filed.

8:03 a.m. — A woman called to report someone broke into her home and vehicle on West Sherman while she was out of town. A formal complaint was filed.

9:07 a.m. — A wrecker service reported towing an abandoned vehicle from the parking lot at Wendy’s. Information noted for future reference.

9:12 a.m. — An employee at High Tech Pest Control called to report theft of property from the parking lot. A formal complaint was filed.

9:57 a.m. — A caller reported a dog locked in a vehicle outside Pioneer Ridge Apartments. Animal Control spoke to the owner, who was told to leave the windows rolled down all the way and leave water in the pickup.

10:21 a.m. — A woman called to report hearing a loud explosion on North Maple. An officer said people in the area were without power, so a transformer must have blown.

12:03 p.m. — An officer went to the Carroll County Jail to transport a male inmate to the Boone County Jail.

12:57 p.m. — A subject went to the HPD to report theft of rented property, but an officer said it was a civil matter.

1:24 p.m. — A caller reported a large tree down on Davis Drive. The Street Department was notified.

1:55 p.m. — A 911 dispatcher reported receiving a call regarding a reckless driver. An officer followed the vehicle, but noted no violations.

3:05 p.m. — A female subject called to talk to an officer about a child custody issue. She was advised of the proper steps to take.

3:10 p.m. — A male subject went to the HPD to report someone wrote him a hot check. A formal forgery complaint was filed.

3:27 p.m. — A caller reported an unwanted male subject outside Rebekah Lane Formal Wear. An officer said the subject was waiting for a ride, but he agreed to move away from the business.

3:48 p.m. — A female subject went to the HPD to talk to an officer about a possible warrant for her arrest, but she was told she had no warrants at the time.

4:15 p.m. — A man went to the HPD to report he had been mugged on the parking lot outside Hudson’s Supermarket. An officer determined the subjects involved were related and agreed to return each other’s property.

4:29 p.m. — A woman called to report her son was creating a disturbance at her residence on South Ash. An officer said the 37-year-old man agreed to leave the residence for the evening, but the 63-year-old caller was served with a warrant for failure to appear in court on driving on a suspended license with bond set at $925 and issued a new court date.

6:31 p.m. — A male subject went to the HPD to report possible drug activity. Information passed on to narcotics division.

6:36 p.m. — An officer on patrol reported finding a used syringe on the parking lot outside Casey’s on South Main. He properly disposed of the item.

6:57 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested on East Mill due to harassment.

8:41 p.m. — A woman called via 911 to report three juveniles sitting in the roadway on Johnson near the entrance to The Links. An officer said three female subjects were walking in the area when he arrived.

9:02 p.m. — Arkansas State Police requested an officer try to make contact with a male subject at an address on South Clifford. He had fled from a car crash earlier that night and might have been highly intoxicated. An officer said the subject in question wasn’t present at the location.

9:22 p.m. — A male subject went to the HPD to report possible drug activity. Information passed on to narcotics division.

10:08 p.m. — A caller reported an unattended juvenile male walking northbound on Main Street from the square, but an officer said the child was being supervised when he arrived in the area.
