Arkansas Citizens for Transparency (ACT), a nonpartisan group, filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin over his rejection of their proposed constitutional amendment, frequently referred to as the "Arkansas Government Transparency Act." The amendment, aimed at embedding the Freedom of Information Act in the state constitution, had been rejected by Griffin multiple times. On Wednesday, the AG certified revised names and titles for the proposed amendment.
