Gospel singing
DIAMOND CITY — The First Baptist Church of Diamond City will host a gospel singing on Friday, Dec. 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone who plays an instrument and sings is welcome to join and all are welcome to listen and enjoy.
David Owens to minister
Jubilee Worship Center will host David Owens at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19. The service will be held at the Quality Inn Convention Center on Hwy. 62/65 North. Call Pastor Ken Rensink at 870-426-4147 for more information.
Messiah
The Harrison Community Choir will be presenting Messiah for the public on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. and Monday Dec. 20, at 7:30 p.m. to allow for plenty of distancing. The performances will be at the First Presbyterian Church at 220 N. Arbor Drive.
Christmas Eve service
St. John's Episcopal Church will celebrate its annual Christmas Eve service Friday evening, December 24. Christmas carols will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. St. John's Episcopal Church is located at 707 West Central Avenue in Harrison. Father Greg Hoover and the congregation invite everyone to attend.
Christmas Eve candlelight service
Valley View Methodist Church will host a candlelight service at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 2844 Valley View Church Road.
