Fall revival

Pastor Matthew Haley and the Harrison Bible Missionary Church will host a revival with evangelist Larry Dillard beginning Friday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 16. Senator Jason Rapert to speak

BATAVIA — Evangelist and Senator Jason Rapert will minister at Restoration Life Fellowship Church located at 8113 Hwy. 392 West (Batavia) on Sunday Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m. His message, “Save the Nation” will be dealing with the unprecedented intensity of the culture war in the nation and how Christians can respond from a Biblical worldview. Jason is the founder and president of the National Association of Christian Lawmakers and currently serves in the Arkansas State Senate.

Informed Choices Women’s Center banquet set

“Light the Path” banquet for Informed Choices Women’s Center is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Signature Tower located at 303 Main Street. Fellowship begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and program at 6:30-8:30.  RSVP by Sept. 27. Seating is limited so contact a table host by calling 870-280-3169.

Special Guest

Pastor Frank Whiteside and the congregation of Lone Star Full Gospel Church invite the public to hear special guests, James and Amy Smith from Shawnee, OK on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 4528 Hwy. 7 South.

Block Party

Pastors Dewey and Teresa McGarrah and Believers Fellowship will host a Block Party on Saturday, Oct. 15 from noon until 4 p.m. with chili, hot dogs, bounce house, slide and games. Enjoy this free family fun with neighbors. The church is located at 806 N. Chestnut.

Music at ‘The Mill’

Neighbor’s Mill is hosting an outdoor concert on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. It will be an evening of Christian and appropriate secular music featuring the praise bands of First Baptist and Woodland Heights. Admission and refreshments are free. 

Community Event

The Burlsworth Foundation as well as area businesses are sponsoring a community event on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. to be held in the North Arkansas College Pioneer Pavilion. Razorback Athletic Director, Hunter Yurachek will share his testimony and introduce the main guest, Robby Gallatry of Nashville, Tennessee. Admission is free. Community Gospel Sing set

The Ark PCG will host a gospel sing for the community on Saturday, Oct. 29 beginning at 1 p.m. There will be a potluck finger food fellowship afterwards. The church is located at 3598 Hwy. 65 North. Call 501-249-2845 for more information.
