EVERTON — The Everton Baptist Church and the Everton United Methodist Church is sponsoring a community egg hunt at the Everton City Park at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 7. In case of rain the event will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 3 p.m.

NEWTON COUNTY — The Newton County Baptist Church and Rock Haven Ministries will host the annual Egg Drop Eggstravaganza at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 8, at the Mt. Judea School campus. A helicopter will drop 10,000 candy filled eggs for the kids to pick up. There will be carnival games, cotton candy, popcorn, bounce houses, and face painting. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.
Eagle Heights Baptist Church is hosting an Easter eggstravaganza at 4 p.m. April 8. The “Hunt for the Truth” will feature a bounce house, food and egg hunt. Easter Worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 9.
Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church will host an early Easter worship service at 8 a.m. with breakfast to follow and an egg hunt at 9:45 a.m. Grow groups at 10:15 and late worship at 11 a.m.
NEWTON COUNTY — Newton County Baptist Church is hosting a Son-Rise Service at 7:30 a.m. on Easter morning, April 9. Spoken 4 Quartet will be in concert during the Son-Rise service. There is no cost for the event and the community is invited to attend. The church is located in Piercetown on state Highway 123.
DEER — The Deer Baptist Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. April 9.
Calvary Baptist Church will host Faith’s Journey from the God and Country Theater in Branson, Missouri to sing at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 701 N. Spruce.
GRUBB SPRINGS — The Grubb Springs Baptist is hosting Westward Road on Saturday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m.
The President of the Southern Baptist Convention, Dr. Bart Barber will be preaching at Eagle Heights Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 23. The church is located at 703 E. Walters. Call 741-5148 for more information.
