LITTLE ROCK — A non-partisan audit of the details surrounding the purchase of Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s custom lectern has claimed to find at least seven potential violations of state law. The audit, released to the public on Monday by Arkansas Legislative Audit (ALA), explores how taxpayer money was used for the purchase, how Freedom of Information Act requests were ignored, and how Sanders’s office changed their answers and shredded documents related to the purchase. ALA said in the report that they were unable to determine whether the lectern's cost was reasonable.
