Baseball has been a favorite Ozarks spring and summer pastime for over 100 years, and it still is. The youth baseball and softball seasons being in full swing, this nostalgic look back to “simpler times” in the early 1950’s, shows that baseball was quite popular then as now. This information comes from the museum files as well as from the files of the Harrison Daily Times. Perhaps the reader may recognize some of the names.
