The Boone County Cattlemen's Association held its November meeting on Nov. 9 at the John Paul Hammerschmidt Center at North Arkansas College; there were 50 members and guests in attendance. This meeting was sponsored by the Arkansas Farmers Union. BCCA President Scott Kernodle brought the meeting to order; Joe Collins led the blessing for the meal. Kernodle then asked veterans to stand and help lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Following the Pledge, Kernodle recognized the veterans in attendance as well as guests. He then recognized November anniversaries and birthdays. We were treated to a meal of roast beef, scalloped potatoes, steamed mixed vegetables, salad, dinner rolls, brownies, cheesecake, and tea.
