Bundys care for customers at Sullivan Pharmacy

Posted

Josh and Addie Bundy purchased Sullivan Pharmacy just a little over two years ago. Addie is a pharmacist and still loves owning the business.

“We are still very excited about being business owners. We’ve enjoyed getting to know our customers and would always welcome new ones, too. I’ve learned a lot and I’m sure there is still more to learn, but I think we are all settling in well.”

Sullivan Pharmacy originally opened in the 60s as part of the Family Doctor’s Clinic. Pharmacist Mike Richardson moved the business to the current location on Main Street around 2000. When Richardson retired, the Bundys purchased the business.

Addie said she has four pharmacists including herself and three technicians who have been with the pharmacy for more than nine years. “We have a great staff.”

The Bundy’s have continued to expand their retail gift selections and continue to offer immunizations which include flu shots and the shingles vaccine. “Individuals can call and we can let them know a block of time that is available for vaccines. No appointment is necessary, but they try to pick afternoon times, when the pharmacists may not be as busy.”

It’s an easy process for someone to switch their medication to Sullivan. Addie said just give them a call and let them know what pharmacy they were using and the staff will handle the rest for the customer.

Sullivan Pharmacy offers free delivery and a drive-thru. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p .m. And on Saturday 8 a.m. until noon. Closed on Sundays. The phone number is 870-741-2119. The pharmacy is at 731 Main Street close to NARMC.
