This past Sunday I was working on the square in downtown Harrison when I noticed a man looking intently at the War Memorial. Maybe he knew one of the names etched in the wall or was paying his respects to the fallen a day early. Like so many who spend a long time looking at War Memorials, he probably wanted to be left alone with his thoughts and memories.
