If you were ever fortunate enough to meet Howard McCarville, guaranteed you would walk away smiling. Even at 93, he was a still charmer quick with a joke, harmonica at the ready. He would first introduce you to his tiny dogs who were always by his side, followed by a rousing rendition of the Marine Corps Hymn or America the Beautiful.
